A note from the Rittmeyers
In August 2014, we, along with our two kids Svanja and Judah, moved from Rockford, Illinois to Ephraim, Utah to serve with Tri-Grace Ministries. Our roles in the ministry are many, but our primary role is working with students from Snow College as club advisors for the Solid Rock Christian Club. This club serves as an outlet for students who are primarily born-again believers to have fellowship through weekly Bible studies, gatherings, and events. We encourage students to bring their non-believing friends to all of the club gatherings, trusting that the Lord will do a mighty work in their lives through relational ministry.
We met in high school and dated long-distance for 2 years. While dating, Kjelse attended LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas and majored in Digital Writing. In 2008, she went on a spring break mission trip to Ephraim, Utah, where she met Chip and Jamie Thompson. One week after Kjelse's college graduation, we got married, and a few weeks later we moved down to LeTourneau University so that Jordan could complete his degree. Jordan majored in Christian Ministry and in 2012 also went on the Utah spring break mission trip, the same trip that Kjelse had taken 4 years earlier.
During the mission trip that Jordan went on, God began calling us to work full-time as missionaries with TGM. He softened our hearts and prepared us to be able to answer that call two years later. Since being in Utah we have added a third member to our family, Silas Rittmeyer is now the first Utah native in the Rittmeyer family!
Please be praying for us and our family as we seek to make disciples of Christ who not only have kingdom feet, but kingdom hearts.
